Thanks for being so vulnerable in this post.

It’s overwhelming when we think it’s all up to us. I do this when I try to fill in the gaps for things I think are lacking: math tutor, personal trainer, counselor, etc. It’s humbling when older kids outgrow the help I can give (I promise I aced Algebra 25 + years ago…lol) or simply want more space.

My favorite thing to hear from my kids is their favorite adult at the moment… like when I learn that a music teacher or coach has stepped in the gap, sometimes for a year without me knowing it :). It’s a testimony to God’s omnipresence and omnipotence.

Thanks again!

Oh I love that Kim! Thanks for your feedback 😊 Writing has been a gift from God that helps me process my story💕 What another gift from God in providing us with so many wonderful resources who come along side us and “fill in gaps.” We need only humble ourselves and realize we can’t be *everything* for them, then welcome love in.

You are a wonderful mother! Never forget that. I worked with kids who were neglected and abused by their parents, and after the children were taken away, the parents turned their backs on them and did not want them back, but God finds a way to reach those children, too!

It’s a tragedy 😢🥺 Children are so very precious. We live in such a broken, fallen world- Thank you God for Jesus, whose grace covers a multitude of sins and whose love can thoroughly and completely heal our wounded and scarred hearts 🙏🏼❤️
