Definitely saving this as an evergreen post to share. Sometimes it’s hard to put words to how sin dulls our sensitivity, but this analogy captures it so well. Thanks, Vanessa.
This is excellent, Vanessa. I like how you wove in so many references from the old and new Testaments, especially the Psalm at the end, which is so poetic.
But I have to ask, how is your physical condition today?
I’m so glad you enjoyed it, Frank! I just love the poetry of the psalms, don’t you? So much truth and beautiful imagery woven together. Well…. I still hurt, but it’s manageable. I’m hoping to get back to the chiropractor once my youngest’s O.T. finishes up. It really helped! Thank you for asking🙏🏼😊
After reading this I had the same thoughts and question. I'm glad the pain is more manageable.. and hope you've been able to get more care for your pain.
Oh, thank you. I'm needing to get myself there again actually--sigh--but I try to remember pain and weakness keep me at the foot of Cross. Amen? He is so very good and gracious to us!
Thank you Mark! I really do work hard to “rightly divide the word of Truth.” I pray that my words would never lead believers astray (even inadvertently, though I know there is grace for that) —the handling of His precious Truth is a big responsibility and I don’t take it lightly!

That is so kind! Thank you for the encouraging words, AJ! I love when God helps us see His Truth even in the most unlikely places =)

I really appreciate how grounded in scripture and rock-solid doctrine your posts always are.

Vanessa I love the way you handle and share the word. Agree, rock-solid.
This means so much! Praise God!
There were a lot of shocking moments in this read, Vanessa. Well done.
Thanks Mom! Please send me a text and elaborate! What parts were shocking?😯
